8 yo M, restrained back seat passenger in MVC
Findings
- Asymmetric left periorbital soft tissue swelling
- Left orbital roof fracture
- Suspected right orbital roof fracture given extraconal air
Teaching Points
Use the coronal sequence to run the orbits. Check the extraocular muscles for any herniation in the setting of orbital fracture.
