16 week old M whose twin has NAT
Major Findings
- Subtle nondisplaced left parietal skull fracture
- Corresponding trace subpial or subarachnoid blood products
Teaching Points
Workup for NAT (non-accidental trauma) often includes a skeletal survey and non-contrast head CT.
This case is extremely subtle and a reminder to use your multiplanar reformats, particularly the coronal, to search for extra-axial blood products.
